Michael was my brother for 80 years. I was very please that he was able to give me away on my wedding day in 1963. I am unable to attend his funeral, however the last time I saw him in the autumn, he was happy. I have photos of that day and this is how I will remember him, always with much love and affection. Rest in peace Uncle Mike, with Betty (mum) now. I will always remember Christmas at Summertree as a child, and I have happy memories of you and all the animals. That will be my memory of you - on a horse, surrounded by dogs.

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used. Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
